Hello. My name is Joshua Nadel.
I’ve been married to my beautiful bride and best friend since 1996. We have four wonderful kids and we live in a beautiful area of Western Colorado that actually has four seasons. Some longer than others, but four nonetheless. We have some chickens too.
I’ve had the privilege of becoming the Worship Pastor at our church since 2005. But we’ve been involved with Redlands Community Church since before we were married: Sunday school, deacon board, choir, nursery, college life, worship leading, etc. I’m overjoyed to be able to serve my God, our church, and His people by using the gifts and talents He’s given me.
As Worship Pastor, I strive to minister to the Lord and our fellowship with music, art, teaching, and prayer. Hopefully modeling a lifestyle of authentic worship to the One who made me. Worship is what we were made to do. And Jesus is who I want to worship.
Within these pages and posts I hope to share some the thoughts I’ve had on the topic of worship, family life, homeschool, marriage, articles I’ve written for our church’s monthly newsletter, and other observations of this awe-full life.
“I have learned to be content no matter what happens to me. I know what it’s like not to have what I need. I also know what it’s like to have more than I need. I have learned the secret of being content no matter what happens. I am content whether I am well fed or hungry. I am content whether I have more than enough or not enough. I can do everything by the power of Christ. He gives me strength.” Philippians 4:11–13
